1. Who we are

RideWise Moto ("the App") is developed and operated by artPhone s.r.o., Dunajska 8, 81108 Bratislava, Slovakia (VAT ID: SK2120056169). For any privacy-related question you can contact us at the address listed at the bottom of this page.

2. Data we use

The App is designed to use only the information needed for its core function: providing motorcycle-relevant weather guidance.

Location data: The App uses your device's current location to query weather forecasts and to compute a riding score for your selected riding area. Your precise location never leaves your device — only the forecast results are received from the weather service.

Weather data: We retrieve forecast data from a third-party weather service (WeatherAPI.com). Their privacy policy applies to that data exchange.

3. Community features (anonymous)

When you tap the "forecast confirmed" button on the score card, the App sends the following data to a secure cloud service operated by Google (Google Firebase / Firestore):

a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier (a UUID stored only on your device; not linked to your name, e-mail, Apple ID, advertising ID or any other identifier),
an approximate GPS coordinate, rounded to roughly 5 km accuracy for privacy,
the timestamp of the confirmation,
the score number that was visible on screen at the time,
a short rider-profile label (e.g. "beginner", "experienced") for aggregated statistics.

This data is used solely to compute and display an aggregated count of nearby ride confirmations to other users in your area. We do not link these confirmations to your identity, and the rounded GPS makes it impossible to derive a precise track of your movements.

4. Weekend forecast newsletter (optional opt-in)

If — and only if — you enter your e-mail address into the weekend forecast subscription field and tap the subscribe button, your e-mail address is stored in a separate Google Firebase collection together with your selected language and the same anonymous device identifier referenced above. We use this e-mail address solely to send you a short weekly summary of weekend riding conditions.

You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at the e-mail address below; we will delete your subscription record promptly.

5. Data we do NOT collect

The App does not collect or transmit:

your name, surname, real-world identity, age, gender, phone number,
precise GPS tracks of your routes,
contacts, photos, calendar entries or other phone content,
crash logs containing personal data,
analytics that would identify you personally.

The App contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no behavioural tracking, and no fingerprinting libraries.

6. Data retention

Anonymous confirmation entries are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Weekend newsletter subscriptions are retained for as long as you remain subscribed.
