What’s new — and what’s coming
RideWiseMoto is actively developed. This page shows what is already in the app, New features are announced here when they are released.
We deliberately do not publish release dates. We are a small team and we ship a feature when it is genuinely ready, not when a calendar says so. What we do promise is that this page stays current.

Update from the App Store or Google Play to make sure you are on the latest version. Where a release is marked with a platform, it is available there first and follows on the other platform shortly after.
Version 1.2.1 · iOS: 10 September
Clearer view on the "Nearby stops & help" card — on some devices the toilet icon overlapped the tile frame and was cut off. Every category is now fully visible.
We now explain hazy, reduced-visibility conditions too — until now, hazy air and reduced visibility already lowered the score, but we did not tell you. From now on, if this makes your score lower or your ride window narrower, we tell you why.

Status lamp fix — it now shows the true state even after you turn the standing declaration on or off.

-You can now make a standing declaration. If you only ride when you are rested, calm and physically fit to ride, a single switch tells the app to stop asking before every departure. You will find it under the three ride-check questions and in Settings, and it stays in your hands: turn it off whenever you like, and answering "no" to any of the three clears it on its own.
-A status lamp in the header. Every screen now carries a small coloured lamp showing where your pre-ride check stands — green when all three answers are yes, amber at two, red below that. Tap it to go straight to the check.
-The ride window now tells you why it ends. Instead of just a closing time, you get the reason in one line: it gets dark, rain is likely, thunderstorms are expected, or it turns noticeably colder. When there is no real reason, we stay silent rather than invent one.

-From now on we present all information of this kind in the units that belong to your device's language setting. Temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, distance and speed in kilometres or miles — by default following your device setting, and you can change it at any time in Settings to suit you.
Also in this update:
- More accurate timing: the recommended ride window now always adapts more closely to the actual time.
- We refined some wording in Help and About.

-Clothing calibrated to the main part of the day — on warm days the clothing recommendation now follows the main part of the day, so we no longer suggest layers that turn out too warm for a hot afternoon.
